about the director

Francisca Alegría is a Chilean screenwriter/director, who’s work extends from music videos to experimental and narrative short films. Before coming to Columbia, she was selected at the Buenos Aires Talent Campus. Her short films have traveled to different international film festivals and on 2015 she won the prestigious Katharina Otto-Bernstein Award. Now a days, she is developing a feature length with hopes of directing it in Chile, 2017.
